Eastman Kodak Co. has taken a big step toward getting out of bankruptcy.

The shrunken Rochester icon said Monday it has arranged $793 million in financing with four lenders that would help give the company the stability it needs to emerge from court protection sometime in the first half of 2013.

Chicago-based RR Donnelley & Sons Company (RRD) reported third-quarter 2012 net earnings attributable to common shareholders of $71.4 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, on net sales of $2.5 billion compared to net earnings of $158.0 million, or $0.83 per diluted share, on net sales of $2.7 billion in the third quarter of 2011.
