NAPL/NAQP Honors Print Award Winners
NAPL/NAQP will present 2010 PrintImage Excellence Awards to 20 U.S. printers from across the nation at the annual Association Awards Luncheon on Oct. 1 in Chicago.
Top honors will go to CL Graphics, Crystal Lake, Ill., whose entry, The Alexian Brothers Foundation Invitation, was judged "Best of Show." The Awards Luncheon, sponsored by Kodak, will be a featured event during the 2010 Owners Conference, Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, at Chicago's InterContinental Hotel.
Awards will be presented to quick and small commercial printers for industry excellence in 17 categories, ranging from one-color offset printing to binding and finishing, in-house design, wide format and high-production digital printing, and cross-media campaigns. More than 125 entries were received in this year's competition.
"These awards showcase the breadth of printing and related service excellence among quick and small commercial printers," said NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale. "The high level of craftsmanship and industry knowledge exhibited by these honorees is a testament not only to their individual acumen, but the quality output that is a trademark of our industry. We are very proud to be honoring them with 2010 PrintImage Excellence Awards."
Winners will be featured in NAPL/NAQP publications as well as in a special section in the November issue of Quick Printing magazine.
