Repacorp Wins SGIA Golden Image Award
Tipp City, Ohio-based Repacorp was recently honored with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Golden Image (including Adré Schellenberg) award for the Neil Young Diary in the loose-leaf products category.
The replica of Neil Young's personal journal is Smyth-sewn with a six-color silkscreen print. A white base coat was applied before four-color process printing and the color was sealed with a matte clear coat. Texture was applied by radio frequency debossing.
More than 90 companies from around the world entered the competition, submitting nearly 450 entries in 43 product categories.
“I am very proud of the Repacorp team,” said Repacorp president Rick Heinl. “With all the hard work our employees put into this project, we are very proud of it and grateful that the hard work was recognized against the best in the world—congratulations to our team!”
