Wright Enterprises Expands Management Team

Portland, Oregon-based Wright Enterprises Holding Co. (parent company of Wright Business Graphics, Wright Imaging and Wright Business Graphics of California) announced the addition of Ty Babcox as director of information technologies, a newly created position for the $50 plus MM company.

“It is especially gratifying to identify and promote talent from within our organization. In this expanded role, Ty is now positioned to enhance and accelerate our IT platform to incorporate best-in-class solutions enterprise-wide,” said Dan Adkison, president and COO.

“In addition to being a talented programmer, Ty has the ability to communicate complex information to our customers in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way,” said Gordon Klepec, vice president of sales.

Babcox has more than 20 years of experience in the IT field, complemented by five years in various sales and marketing roles. He has worked for several large corporations including Blue Cross Blue Shield and Microsoft.

In other news, Wright Business Forms, Inc. (dba Wright Business Graphics-WBG) hired Eric DeRoos as prepress manager in the company’s Portland, Ore. Facility.

Prior to joining WBG, DeRoos managed the prepress division at Irwin-Hodson Company where he won multiple awards for his work in the UV printing field.

“We are excited to have someone of Eric’s caliber joining our team. His unique skill set and proven industry experience is certain to enhance prepress workflows and efficiencies in our rapidly expanding digital and commercial print divisions,” said Adkison.

Eric has more than 13 years of experience in print production and prepress operations within high-end commercial printers and packaging industries.
