Distributor Staples Promotional Products will invest up to $9 million and add more than 40 jobs over the next five years at its Overland Park headquarters, according to the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce.
The Flesh Company announced the addition of two new regional sales managers. Bernie Emmons will be responsible for sales in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.
From Feb. 22, 2012 through Feb. 28, 2012, the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) awarded 66 one-time print jobs to 28 print supplier clients of Government Print Management. The total value in new business for the clients was $282,018.

Despite stricter regulations on the safety and sales of promotional products, 2010 and the first half of 2011 have shown a sales resurgence in the industry. The returning fiscal strength of the industry is evident from the list, which is based on revenue numbers from 2010. Overall, the top 50 suppliers raked in more than $500 million more than they did in 2009. These companies have increased their margins, upped the interest in their products and committed themselves to making it through the financial crises stronger than before, and they are being rewarded for it.
The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) and the Federal Judiciary are launching a one-year pilot program providing free public access to court opinions through GPO's Federal Digital System (FDsys).
