Block Graphics Relocates California Facility Headquartered in Portland, Ore., Block Graphics will relocate its Paso Robles, Calif., facility to the Reno, Nev., area by the end of 2006. Employees in the Paso Robles plant willing to relocate are being offered positions in the new facility, but severance packages are also available. The move affects 15 employees, and enables the company to expand its one-day shipping service area while maintaining the level of quality, service and reliability customers expect. The relocation will not affect Block Graphics' facility in Sun City, Calif., and is seen as strengthening its presence in the region. Founded in
CPI Card Group, Littleton, Colo., has received the Élan Award for the best non-financial card design for the card manufacturing excellence category. CPI's winning entry was a Starbucks Coffee Company stored value gift card featuring animated artwork of a Vespa scooter and patrons drinking coffee outside an Italian bistro. CPI Card Group also was chosen as one of two finalists for the People's Choice Élan Award for Card Manufacturing for its pink glitter Aeropostale gift card.
