Document Imaging Changes Name to GDXdata
Global DocuGraphix, Chicago, recently announced that Denver-based Document Imaging, an information and data management services company, has changed its name to GDXdata. Global DocuGraphix, a single-source supplier of diverse products and services for the business-to-business market in North America, South America, the Caribbean and the U.K., acquired Document Imaging in January 2000.
"The name change represents a logical step in our progress over the last four years," said A. Dennis Zehnle, president of GDXdata. "The new GDXdata name clarifies our market position and reduces confusion about our relationship to our parent company Global DocuGraphix."
GDXdata, which serves clients such as Nestle, Toys-R-Us, Ceridian and Convergys, provides services ranging from document scanning and data conversion to enterprise-wide document management solutions.
"The name GDXdata says that we're serious, we're global and we're connected," said Graham McClean, president and CEO of Global DocuGraphix. "It positions us to capitalize on the industry's recognition of Global DocuGraphix and promises loftier goals and exciting new directions as we reach deeper and wider in 2004."
Document Imaging will transition to the GDXdata name during the coming weeks and will use both names on products, advertising and corporate communications. In addition, the company has changed its URL from www.docimag.com to www.gdxdata.com.
