However, Oftedahl is a go-getter who refuses to be bogged down by gender bias. Throughout her career, she has improved upon what she refers to as her "four C's: Customer's first, Confidence, Conversationalist and Creativity."
"No matter what distributor or competitor I've encountered, I've found being confident, knowledgeable and showing our value has made me and our company stand out," Oftedahl said. "You know, although this has historically been a male-dominated industry, I haven't found that I've had to work harder and I do think in some cases individuals have limited themselves which has caused them to feel this way. I've always been a proponent of 'you get what you put into it.' I can be in control of my success."
