The Goal: McGinnis was asked to develop a package of materials that would engage newly accepted students and encourage them to enroll in the university. Drexel needed a one-stop shop that could assist with design, supply printed materials, and fulfill and mail packages.
The Solution: After many discussions and idea exchanges, McGinnis and Drexel University Online decided on "a fun solution that would engage the prospective students immediately." The package featured a mix of print and promotional items, including: a customized mailer with an interior tray and seal, a Post-it note with a "call-to-action," a personalized letter, a brochure, a window decal, three stickers, a notebook and a pencil. "The promotional products draw the student into the package and increase the likelihood of having the students review the enclosed materials and enroll in the university," McGinnis explained.
